Hi, I am Kelly, I am an Australian/Canadian + now a bit German! I have two small children born in 2011 & 2012 so life can get hectic! I created Fit Mamas® in May 2014 to get myself and some new mother back in shape and since then there has been a lot of growth!
I am a former professional ironwoman (swimming, running, paddling surf crafts in the ocean) and I trained 4-5 hours per day from the age 10-22 years old! I have trained with specialised coaches up to Olympic level in a wide range of exercises- in the gym, pool, ocean, beaches, athletic tracks, mountains, on bikes, kayaks and ocean paddle crafts… since getting older and living in Europe I have focussed on staying fit whilst being a mum - so exercising wherever, whenever and however - you may see me jogging through the streets with my double stroller or doing squats and lunges next to my children in the sandpit!
I'm not going to lie to you here - I have fallen off the fitness wagon a few times due to injuries, illnesses and motherhood so I know what it is like to get started again and again - its never too late to get fit and get back into shape!
Why am I a good trainer for Mamas? Because I am a Mum, and I have had a few mother related problems,
pelvic floor weakness (ongoing) and abdominal muscle separation - I know what your body has gone through and the best exercises to help you get strong! Also I have years of experience and have developed our Fit Mamas® courses to be fun, safe and effective. I haven't just done a weekend course and started "training" Mothers (like many of the franchises here in Germany), our knowledge and courses are flexible to the needs of each individual. I also work along side expert Beckenboden and Sport-Physiotherapists here in Würzburg...so if you need extra help I can point you in the right direction!

So what do I know?
I studied Certificate III & IV in Fitness and Personal Training, also Certificates in pre/postnatal sport, and Pilates Trainer (I also have a Bachelor of Business Economics & Public Relations, Masters of Secondary Teaching). I am currently studying German so my sessions are available in German and English.
I have worked as a coach for surf sports and swimming for over 15 years and now as a qualified Fitness Trainer/Personal Trainer for over 8 years.
I also teach classes at the VHS and the HebammenPraxis Würzburg and at DanceEncore (Fit Mamas® Indoor, Pilates mit Kind & Barre).
I have expertise in outdoor training using what I can see and our own body as our own gym! Of course I often bring some equipment along to make sure we never get bored! I also know that you will feel better and fitter with each and every step you take- so come along!
I will motivate you to push your limits and be strong in your mind and body!

10.01.2015 - Karlstadt, Staustufenlauf - 15 km - 1h05min28s - 1st in my age group! (PB at 10km =43m20s)
14.03.2015 - Gedächtnislauf, Würzburg - 22 km - 1h40min20s - 1st Woman overall
26.04.2015 - Residenzlauf Würzburg - 10 km - 43m04s - 1st Woman in Hauptlauf
17.05.2015 - i Welt Würzburg Marathon - 21.1km - 1h32m40s - 9th Woman overall
14.06.2015 - Rothenburg Halbmarathon - 21.1 km - 1:35:26 - 1st Woman overall
08.11.2015 - Kitzigen, Lebkuchenlauf - 10 km - 42m28s - (Fit Mamas & Papas Team was 2nd - we had 24 runners!)
09.01.2016 - Karlstadt, Staustufenlauf - 15 km - 1h03min34s - 1st in my age group (PB at 10km =42m05s)
13.03.2016 - Bad Windsheim, Halbmarathon - 21.1km - 1h33min44s - 1st Woman Overall (& Silvia 2nd!)
